JOE JONAS

Joseph Adam "Joe" Jonas (born August 15, 1989) shares the lead singer role with his younger brother Nick of the Jonas Brothers, a pop-rock band made up of him and his two brothers, Nick and Kevin.



Biography

He shares lead vocals with Nick Jonas, and sometimes plays the guitar and tambourine.

The Jonas' are known for their wholesome, family-friendly image. The brothers are all committed Evangelical Christians, their father is a former pastor, and they were homeschooled by their mother. In addition, they all famously wear purity rings on their left-hand ring finger and have vowed not to have premarital sex. Joe has said that the rings symbolize "a promise to ourselves and to God that we'll stay pure 'till marriage," and Nick had stated that "it's [purity rings] pretty awesome, and the rings are just one of our ways of kind of like being different than everybody else out there." They started wearing the rings when their parents, Denise and Kevin Sr., asked them if they wanted to. They also abstain from tobacco and drugs.[1]



Musical career

Jonas Brothers

In early 2005, Columbia Records' new president, Steve Greenberg, listened to Nick's record. While Greenberg did not like the album, he did like Nick's voice. [2]

After meeting with Nick and hearing the song, "Please Be Mine", written and performed by the brothers, Daylight/Columbia Records had decided to sign the three as a group act. [3] After being signed to Columbia, the brothers considered naming their group "Sons of Jonas" before settling on the name "Jonas Brothers."[4]

It's About Time, the brothers first album was released on August 8, 2006.[5] According to the band's manager, it was only a "limited release" of a little over 50,000 copies. Because Sony was not interested in further promoting the band, the Jonas Brothers then considered switching labels. The band was ultimately dropped by Columbia Records in early 2007.

After shortly being without a label, the Jonas Brothers signed with Hollywood Records in February 2007.[6][7] Around the same time, the brothers began appearing in commercials for Baby Bottle Pops, singing the jingle.[7] Their self-titled second album, Jonas Brothers, was released on August 7, 2007.[8] It reached number five on the Billboard Hot 200 chart in its first week.

The Jonas Brothers' third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, was released in the United States on August 12, 2008.[9]



Camp Rock Soundtrack

In the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock, Joe's character "Shane Gray" sings a total of 2 songs without his brothers. The first song is "Gotta Find You", which only Joe sings. The other song is "This Is Me". This song is a duet with Joe and co-star Demi Lovato.



Acting career

On August 17, 2007, Joe, along with his brothers, guest starred in an episode of Hannah Montana. The episode debuted alongside High School Musical 2 and a sneak peek of the new Disney Channel show Phineas and Ferb.[10] The episode broke basic cable records with a record 10.7 million viewers and became basic cable's most watched series telecast ever.[11]

Joe and his brothers, filmed a Disney Channel Original Movie called Camp Rock where they play a band called "Connect Three." Joe plays the lead male role and lead singer "Shane Gray"; Nick plays the role of "Nate," a guitarist; and Kevin plays the role of "Jason," also a guitarist. A soundtrack for the movie was released on June 17, 2008. The movie premiered on June 20 in the USA on Disney Channel, and Canada on Family.

The Disney Channel reality short series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, premiered on Disney Channel on May 16, 2008. The show, which will tentatively run until September 5, 2008, documents the brothers' lives on the "Look Me in the Eyes Tour", the name was inspired by the band's hit song When You Look Me in the Eyes.

Biography

Edward "Ed" Westwick (born June 27, 1987)
is an English actor best known for his role as Chuck Bass amongst the main cast on the American television series Gossip Girl. He is also the lead singer of the English rock band The Filthy Youth



Early Life

Westwick was born into a family of two older brothers, his father a lecturer in Business Studies and his mother an educational psychologist. He attended St Ippolyts Church of England Primary School and the Barclay School in Stevenage, England. He was attending North Herts College when he made his first film, Breaking and Entering, directed by the late Anthony Minghella.


Career

Westwick trained at the National Youth Theatre in London. He appeared on the British television series Doctors (as "Holden"), Casualty (as "Johnny Cullin") and Afterlife (as "Darren"). His film credits include Breaking and Entering, Children of Men and Son of Rambow. He has also been cast in the sequel to Donnie Darko and the upcoming horror film 100 Feet.


Personal Life

Westwick fronts the British rock band 'The Filthy Youth,' comprised of himself, Benjamin Lewis Allingham, Jimmy Wright, Tom Bastiani, and John Vooght.[1] When filming Gossip Girl, Westwick resides in New York's Chelsea neighbourhood, where he shares an apartment with co-star Chace Crawford. When not filming, Westwick lives in Hertfordshire just outside of London. In an interview with Company Magazine, Westwick stated that he supported the London based football team Chelsea F.C.

malem2 adek gue mau ke kamar mandi yg deket kamar gue,
emg kalo malem2 tu kmar mandi bnyak kecoanya (parah..)
tpi tu kamar mndi pling pewe drpda kmar mndi yg deket dapur n kamar bonyok
adek gue (si meli) ngeliat kecoa ..
yaaaaaaaaaaaww!!
triak nya gk kira2 bu.

gue: ah lo ae sndiri! knpa sih?

pas malem2nya gue ke kmar mndi buat panggilan alam n mndi .
gue liat kmar mndi udah bersiiihh gk ad kecoa yg jalan2
comfort lah gue di kmar mndi

The Click Five Biography
Power pop quintet the Click Five formed in Boston in mid-2003. Lead guitarist Joe Guese, bassist Ethan Mentzer, and keyboardist Ben Romans were students at the Berklee School of Music when they captured the attention of svengali manager Wayne Sharp, a longtime jazz promoter whose first attempt at creating a pinup-ready pop combo, Candy (featuring future Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke), ended in commercial disaster when the group's hotly tipped 1985 debut, Whatever Happened to Fun, flopped at retail. After signing Guese, Mentzer, and Romans, Sharp added another Berklee student, drummer Joey Zehr, who recommended childhood friend Eric Dill to fill the band's frontman slot. Upon receiving their Sharp-issued matching mod-influenced suits and salon-styled haircuts, the Click Five began honing their chops on the Boston nightclub circuit, and in the spring of 2004 cut their first two-song demo session. A four-song tape quickly followed, and within a month the group signed to Lava Records, soon after touring the U.S. in support of Ashlee Simpson and releasing an EP, Angel to You (Devil to Me). The Click Five's debut LP, Greetings from Imrie House, followed in the summer of 2005 amid a flurry of licensed lunchboxes, trading cards, and hair products. The album was also supported via tour dates in support of the Backstreet Boys. After replacing Dill with singer/guitarist (and fellow Berklee alum) Kyle Patrick, Modern Minds and Pastimes followed in 2007. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide

The Click Five is a band from Boston, Massachusetts. They succeeded on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart with the single, "Just The Girl" (written by Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger) from their debut album, Greetings from Imrie House, which was released on August 16, 2005. Their second album, Modern Minds and Pastimes, was released on June 26, 2007.Beginnings (2001-2004)
Joe Guese, Ben Romans, and Ethan Mentzer were in a band called "Oscar Bravo" at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, while Joey Zehr was the drummer in a peer band, "For Reasons Unseen." After the two college bands disbanded, Joe Guese, Ben Romans, Ethan Mentzer, and Joey Zehr formed The Click in 2004 while attending Berklee. The four musicians were searching for a lead singer for the newly-formed band, and Zehr called his childhood friend from Indianapolis, Indiana, Eric Dill, to audition, and subsequently offered him the role. He left his studies at Purdue University and moved into the band's house, which was dubbed, "Imrie House." The group played their first venue at the KISS 108 FM Hatchshell Concert on the Charles River in July 2004.
Debut Album and Tour (2004-2006)
The Click was signed to Lava Records in the fall of 2004, which was eventually combined with Atlantic Records. The group began recording songs for their debut album. They eventually changed their name to The Click Five because many other artists performed under the aforementioned name. In the Spring of 2005, The Click Five opened for Ashlee Simpson with Pepper's Ghost, and opened for The Backstreet Boys that summer. They filmed, and released a music video for their first single, "Just the Girl", in May and June, respectively. It stayed on MTV's Total Request Live countdown for more than forty days, peaking as the third most requested video. The debut album, Greetings from Imrie House, was released on August 16, 2005. The Click Five began an autumn 2005 tour with Ryan Cabrera and The Veronicas. Their second single, "Catch Your Wave", was released in November, accompanied with a music video. They began their first headlining tour in North America in the early months of 2006 followed by one in Singapore and Malaysia in April. They also played several venues in Japan in July 2006 and opened for McFly's arena tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
"Taking Five", New Direction, and New Album (2006-Present)
In the fall of 2006, the band began filming a movie in Salt Lake City, Utah, called "Taking Five". Consequently, Dill decided to leave the band to pursue a solo singing career as well as an acting career in Los Angeles, California. On March 9, 2007, the band posted an official announcement on its web site stating that Eric Dill had left the band. His replacement was later revealed to be singer/guitarist, Kyle Patrick, whom the band had found at Berklee College of Music. The band musically began on a new direction, and released their first single, "Jenny", in the spring of 2007, and later released their second album, "Modern Minds and Pastimes", on June 26, 2007.
